Brandon-Nicole, Atlanta’s multi-talented musician and instrumental powerhouse, has already made an impact with her latest single, “Smokin’,” which dropped on June 11th. Known for her seamless blend of jazz and contemporary styles, Brandon-Nicole delivers once again with a track that’s turning heads in the music scene.
“Smokin’” is a soulful, modern piece that showcases Brandon-Nicole’s signature fusion of trap and jazz influences—a style that first captivated audiences with her hit “Beachside.” The single masterfully combines deep grooves with smooth, jazzy undertones, making it a standout addition to her discography.
Brandon-Nicole’s musical journey is as dynamic as her sound. Growing up in a military family, she was exposed to a wide range of musical influences, drawing inspiration from legends like Cypress Hill, The Veronicas, Bob Marley, Prince, and John Coltrane. A true prodigy, she started playing piano at just 4 years old and was teaching music by 14. Her talents span drums, bass, guitar, and saxophone, making her a one-woman band.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Brandon-Nicole is deeply committed to humanitarian causes and is currently working toward a PhD in Educational Leadership. Her dedication to both her craft and her community shines through in “Smokin’,” a track that feels both timeless and fresh.
Reflecting on the release, Brandon-Nicole shared, “Creating ‘Smokin’’ was an incredible journey. I wanted to blend the soulful elements of my past influences with a contemporary vibe that resonates today. I’m thrilled that people are connecting with it.”
