Urban Architecture Lab is behind the design of a six-story building located at 201 N. La Brea Avenue. This mixed-use project offers 144 residential units, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with ground-floor commercial space.
The apartments at “The Demilo” range in price from $2,550 for a studio to $3,912 per month for a two-bedroom, as listed on leasing platforms.
The building’s design, characterized by a podium structure, features a blend of stucco and corrugated metal panels. Residents have access to amenity decks located on the podium and rooftop levels.
Situated at 201 N. La Brea Avenue, the site is across the street from Astra, a larger mixed-use development with 242 apartments and a Target store on the ground floor, developed by Thomas Safran & Associates. Additionally, another mixed-use project is planned a few blocks away at 317 S. La Brea Avenue, adding 143 more apartments to the area. These projects are all within walking distance of the K Line’s Downtown Inglewood Station.
Despite its history of development in Los Angeles, Atlanta-based Wood Partners, the developer behind The Demilo, announced that it would no longer pursue projects on the West Coast, marking the end of its activities in the region.
